Our main featured site this week goes to this dope panoramic view of Paris, France. Spin around in 360 degrees positioned from atop Le Tour Eiffel.

That Game Company is a video game dev that is the creative force the critically acclaimed downloadable title, Flower for the PS3. They started making waves figuratively and literally with their preceding game, Flow. This week we've got the free Flash version of Flow for you Friday fun session.

The last site is the flash promo site for Civilization V, an apparently addictive turn-based strategy game where you go through human history and experience the rise and fall of each civilization. Never played one myself but I've lost friends for weeks on this title.

The Guru is back with us this week with a few pointers on working with swfs in Firefox.

SWF Resize Tips in Firefox 3.6

By Stefan Richter

Have you noticed that when viewed in Firefox 3.6 some SWF files seem to mysteriously resize themselves or show a focus border when clicked on. At first I could not figure out what was happening when my fullscreen 100%x100% SWF suddenly forced scrollbars to appear in the browser once it received focus. It turned out that this is due to the fact that Firefox 3.6 now draws a 1 pixel 'focus' border around the Flash content which is very annoying. The same happens on Java Applets too. Luckily there is a fairly easy solution to this, and itinvoves a bit of CSS. Simply add this to your page's stylesheet:

a:focus, object:focus { outline: none; -moz-outline-style: none; }

Problem solved..
